Never alone...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray for restoration. I pray that tonight is the last night of this particular struggle. I ask for rest and restoration like only you can give. 

I feel like a wimp. I feel like I should be stronger and able to handle this. But, the simple truth is, I need your help. As always. 

Thank you for being my ever present help.

What God Said Tonight:

Who told you that you had to face struggles alone? Who told you that you had to survive on your own strength? It wasn't me. I never meant for you to face any struggle alone. I never meant for you to be alone. 

I am here, now and forever. I am by your side and lifting you up. I will not see you destroyed by this or by any other attack. 

satan thought he was being clever. He thought he could use the breakthrough I was teaching you against you. Well, he tried but I turned it for your good. I used it to take care of some other things at the same time. 

Yes, you are tired and worn out and that will pass. You have been through more than you realize. Trust in me and stop fearing what is coming next. I am with you. I will protect you. I love you. 

Worry disintegrating...

My prayer:

Today was pretty fun God! The snow was a bit unexpected being that it is mid-May but you kept it from piling up around here which I really appreciate. Maybe this can be the end of the snow for this season? (she said hopefully...)

But, if the weather is the only thing I have to complain about at the end of the day, that is a pretty good day!

I love you. Thank you again for your healing power. Thank you for how you take care of me. 

What God Said Tonight:

Peace, be still, I am here. Rest in my presence. Rest in my love. 

Let every worry disintegrate in my presence. Let every need wither away in my provision. Let every dream grow in my hope and inspiration. 

I love you and I am the substance, the soil for your growth. Grow in me and your produce will be incredible. I love you. 

When God doesn't speak...

My prayer:

Well, I am not sure I did what you wanted me to do but I did the only thing I thought I could. You seemed ok with it but it was pretty vague. I like it much better when you get super obvious and tell me just what I should do, like our walks where you tell me, 'turn left' and 'turn right'. Today it was just that you did not stop me. I asked for you to stop me if it was not your will and you did not. 

So, as I say, I hope I got it right. What I do know is that you turn everything for my good. So, even if I got it wrong, I thank you in advance for turning it for my good. 

I am yours. I am grateful to be yours. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

You see the light on the horizon. You see the morning sunshine. Where there is light, I am there. Follow my light through life. Let my light and my peace be your guide. If you are in darkness, that is not my will for you. If you are in confusion, that is not my will for you. 

Follow the light and the peace and find my will for you. 

I did not need to direct you today because you were headed in the direction I had for you. The only time you need to be told which direction to go is when you are going in the wrong direction. When you are on my path, you don't need me to tell you to keep going. You will naturally move forward.

An ear to God...

My prayer:

I am out of answers God. I know you are trying to show me something but I do not know what it is. I ask for wisdom God. Help me to see what you want to teach me. Show me what you want me to do next. I don't have any guesses left.

What God Said Tonight:

I have you. I have the situation in hand. You have not run out of time. The answers, the next steps are coming, in the right time. 

Keep an ear to me, keep an open heart, I will show you the next step. It is not as bad as you fear. 

I have something to show you. Something pretty amazing. This is only one step in it. 

I love you and you are not alone. You are not abandoned. You are mine and I am yours.

Changing...

What God Said Tonight:

Look deep inside, look at your core and you will find me. I heal from the inside out. 

The changes in you do not always appear on the outside right away. You feel different and you know something has changed but the people around you don't see it yet. 

Be patient with them. Be patient with the promise. Your friends will soon start to see you like I see you. Your family will see that the old you has left. 

Changing as a result of knowing me is easy. Changing to prove you know me is ridiculous. My presence in you will be known. 

All that I need...

My prayer:

I pray and ask for discernment. I think I need wisdom and discernment to get through each day and to know where to head tomorrow. Maybe, it is wisdom, discernment and guidance? 

I guess I am not sure what I need but I know I need you. I ask God, in your wisdom and discernment, to give me whatever it is I need to live in your will for my life.

What God Said Tonight:

I have my protection around you, my light in front of you and my Spirit in you. You have all that you need. 

Trust in what I have given you. Believe that my will is in your heart. Know that you are mine and your life is part of a great plan. Your daily struggle is not wasted. Your exploration and journey have a purpose and a goal. 

I am yours and you are mine, forever. 

Less obvious miracles...

My prayer:

At peace tonight God. Nothing to complain about, nothing to shout about, but at peace and content. That is not a bad place to be. The older I get the more I appreciate contentment. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

Sometimes, miracles are not so obvious. Sometimes hugging a young girl just when she needs it most, is a miracle. Sometimes a kind word to someone who has not heard a kind word for a very long time, is a miracle. 

Don't forget that I can turn everything for your good and I can take the smallest thing and make a miracle out of it. Remember the loaves and the fishes. I can take the leftovers and bless thousands. 

You often want to see the big impact, the flashy miracle and you will see plenty of those too. But don't miss the little miracles in each day. They matter too. Especially to the person receiving them.
